I have never made any secret of my love for the 1985 movie, Legend.
Unicorns, a visually-stunning setting, and truly grotesque goblins with amazing makeup effects by Rob Bottin? Count me in. And need I mention Tim Curry in an absolutely perfect, devilish performance as the villain?
But quite possibly my favorite part of the movie was the theatrical soundtrack by Tangerine Dream. It is some of the most inspirational background music I’ve ever found for writing fantasy. It’s glittery, mysterious, and otherworldly.
